Girl Scouts wouldn’t be Girl Scouts without the great camps we offer throughout the Dakota Horizons Council. Camping is a great way to build new skills, participate in numerous outdoor activities and make new friends. At the many Dakota Horizons camps, girls are in a supportive and fun environment that encourages the development of their leadership potential and creative skills through various organized camp activities and classes. All campers’ activities are done under the guidance of caring, trained adults. Girls will discover, connect and take action as they develop new skills and explore interesting and fun outdoor activities. Every girl should have a chance to be part of a camping adventure!

Girl Scouts in the Dakota Horizons Council can experience camping at its finest! Girls can experience high adventure, challenge courses, swimming, camping and many other outdoor activities by participating in one of the Dakota Horizons camps. Whether you want to complete a sleep under the stars, experience high adventure or advance your technology skills, we have something for you.

Girl Scouts—Dakota Horizons has camping opportunities for all ages! The Council, owns, leases and rents camps throughout the entire area. The camps the Council currently leases or owns are spread across three states:
