Purses and Girl Scouts and Fun - Oh My!
Follow the yellow brick road...to Aberdeen for the First Annual Purses With A Purpose® live and silent auction event.

This first-time special event will include a light breakfast, program, silent auction tables and a live auction featuring gift packages from Aberdeen area businesses. Door prizes will be given away throughout the event. Gather your friends and join us for this fun event!

Registration Policies
Opening Date
- Opening date is the first day registrations will be processed for an event.
- You may send in registrations prior to the opening date. Event registration will not be complete until payment (event fee or deposit) is submitted, checked for accuracy and will then be held until the opening date.
- Sending in registrations before the opening date does NOT mean you will be guaranteed registration for the event.
- Payments will not be processed until the minimum number of participants has been reached.
Closing Date
- The closing date is the last day registrations will be accepted.
- The event will stay open until the closing date or until all spots are filled, which ever comes first.
Substitutions
Substitutions of any kind are NOT allowed.
Policy of Non-Discrimination
No individual will be discriminated against because of race, color, national origin, age, handicap, or socioeconomic status.
Adult/Girl Ratio
All events must meet the minimum adult/girl ratio required by Safety-Wise standards. If the minimum adult/girl ratio is not met, the event will be cancelled and all funds returned.
Event Cancellations
- If an event is cancelled by Girl Scouts—Dakota Horizons due to bad weather or because an event didn’t meet minimum registration requirements, event fees WILL be refunded.
- If an event is held but a participant chooses not to attend the event, refunds will not be given. For cancellations or updates of events contact your District Office.
- Weather-related cancellations will be made via local TV and radio.
